The Evolution of Convergent and the Global War on Error

Dear Valued Customers, Neighbors and Friends,

I am thrilled to announce a major milestone in our company’s evolution. Effective Monday, June 2nd 2008 – Convergent Knowledge Solutions, LLC will become Convergent Performance, LLC. The purpose of this letter is to help you understand that this event marks far more than a name change and new website (www.convergentperformance.com), but also a dramatic enhancement in our ability to serve our current and future customers.

As we enter our 6th year in business, we are ready to respond to new requests from our stakeholders – customers who asked us to (1) increase the scope and breadth of our product and service line into new markets and (2) enhance the current product line through multiple modes of delivery such as web-based learning, videos, podcasts, live workshops and train-the-trainer programs. We listened.

Make no mistake – Convergent remains clearly focused on our “one big thing” – empowerment of individuals to take control of their performance. More than ever before, this core competency runs through every product and service we offer. We have taken this proven concept from our flagship Global War on Error® and Automation Airmanship® programs and built enhanced program offerings at the individual, team, organizational and systems levels. Key new offerings include:

· Expansion of the Global War on Error® into the Maintenance, Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation, Natural Resource Management, and First Responder industries

· Retooling of our Patient Safety products and services, focusing on culturally appropriate solutions and support for complex issues

· 500Experts™ – an exciting cultural change tool that uses appreciative inquiry techniques to capture and leverage the power of positive deviance and best practices within an organization

· Blue Threat Error Control Certification programs for Program and Project Managers, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, LEAN, Baldridge, Quality Control and Safety Management professionals

· Character and Ethics and Leadership seminars and workshops

· Faculty development programs for educators – teachers and administrators at the K-12 and higher education levels

For our current customers, these changes will be transparent and require little or no action, except for a few minor details such as noting our new website and email addresses (firstname@convergentperformance.com). Our old addresses will continue to work for the time being or simply redirect you to our new sites or inbox.

Delivering a great product, superb value, exceptional service and an uplifting customer experience have made us what we are today and will continue to be cornerstones of our company. Since we do little to no advertising (one means to keep our prices low and our value high), we rely on you – our customers, neighbors and friends – to share with others who we are and what we have to offer.
