No educator left behind.
There is no more important or noble mission than the education of the next generation of global citizens. Unfortunately, the world’s educators and administrators are seldom given the resources they deserve, or require to reach their full potential in performing this vital service.
In support of this mission, Convergent offers a range of half-day faculty development and educational administrator enhancement seminars and continuing support services developed by Tony Kern, Ed.D. - former Director of Faculty Development at the United States Air Force Academy, Department of History. Dr. Kern’s workshops and seminars draw on a varied, interdisciplinary landscape to inform and inspire today’s educators. Using Convergent’s L5 Approach (see below), the workshops guide teachers and administrators through a systemic approach carefully crafted to take any subject matter from the textbook to the realm of shared and appreciated comprehension while respecting and leveraging each educator and learner’s unique individuality, readiness and perspective.
Subject matter is drawn from cognitive, behavioral, and educational psychology, human physiology, sports psychology, risk management, military science, and systems dynamics. Through a unique blend of these disciplines, Convergent’s active and engaging seminars leave no educator behind.
